Item description
This is a pair of International Silver Co. sterling silver candlesticks marked N282 in the Berkeley pattern. These were purchased around 1950 by my parents as they were setting up household. The candlesticks are approximately 3 1/2" tall, 4" across the base, 2" across the top, and 7/8" across the hole. There are threads inside the hole so that it could take a candelabra addition. It is marked on the underside weighted reinforced. I gave the sticks a hand polish. There is still a little tarnish. There are a few dings on the bottom outer ring that are noticeable when the candlesticks are turned upside down. One stick has 2 very small dimples on the top edge. I could not get a photo of them. I could only see them with a magnifying glass. There are a few superficial scratches that I think could be buffed out. I am downsizing and am selling most everything. I collected candlesticks of various heights and designs and would put them randomly down the center of my dining room table when We used it. When not used for a meal, I would gather them together on on a large silver galleried tray and would put this on a sideboard. I am in the process of polishing candlesticks and trays and will be listing more. Non-smoking household.
