Vintage Gorham Silver Plate EP YC995 Picture and 50 similar items

This is a vintage Gorham silver plated picture frame. It is marked on the back top of the frame Gorham EP YC995. EP stands for Electroplate often used on silver plate. Between the E and the P is the Gorham mark-- an anchor in a shield. It is a classic style with a flat 3/4" band running around the front of the frame. The frame measures approximately 14" x 11" x 3/8". The opening measures approximately 12 1/2" x 9 1/2". The back is a brown velvet or velveteen with stand. The back slides out of the bottom of the frame and then back in after the photo is inserted. The back stand has a ribbon attached so t hat it cannot be opened too far. The back has some rubbing in the velvet. I gave the frame a light hand polish. There are still some tarnish marks. I did not see any dents or visible scratches. The frame has occasional rub marks. I purchased this frame along with others about 45 years ago. I am downsizing and am selling most everything. Non-smoking household.
