The Gourmet Potter Dip Chiller/Warmer and 14 similar items

This is The Gourmet Potter Dip Chiller/Warmer. It is new in the original box. I removed it only to photograph. It is handmade in the U.S.A. of cream clay with cream glaze inside and outside and with orange palm tree trunks and green fronds on the front and back.. The dip chiller/warmer is in 2 parts. There is a base for ice or hot water and an insert for the dip. the dip insert holds approximately 2 cups. The bottom or underside of the base and the insert is unglazed and the base is marked in black The Gourmet Potter Handmade in USA. It comes with the original instruction sheet. It can be used in the microwave. When I had it out for photographing, I inspected the item. There are no cracks, chips, or crazing. It has the potters marks as it was lifted on the wheel. There are some small clay bumps here and there consistent with handmade pottery. The glaze inside the base has some color variations. When I retired, I bought lots of kitchen gadgets to hone my culinary skills. It turned out that the last thing I wanted to do was cook. This was stored away and forgotten. I am downsizing and am selling most everything. Whenever I open a drawer, a cupboard, or a closet I find things that I had forgotten that I own. This is such an item. Non-smoking household.
