Item description
Order 4 or more connectors and receive a roll of Nashua wire harness tape FREE.
Genuine Ford Motorcraft. Arrives fully assembled and ready for installation. Picture showing the connector taken apart is to demonstrate all of the included components as specified by Ford. I have also included a connector diagram from the Ford Factory Service Manual for reference.
INCLUDES:
3 wire terminals
Housing (20% glass reinforced)
Grommet cap
PLR (Primary Lock Reinforcement)
CPA (Connector Position Assurance device)
Matte seal
Interfacial seal
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Voltage: 250V
Current: 22.0A
Contact Resistance: 10 milliohms max.
Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: 500V DC
Insulation Resistance: 20 Megohms min.
You will want to reuse your factory original wiring and terminals.
1. Simply remove the wire/terminal assemblies from the old connector (feel free to break it apart as you have new ones! Just be careful to not damage your wire/terminals).
2. Do note the position of each wire in relation to the connector.
3. Insert the wire/terminals into the new connector. You should hear an audible click.
4. From the front of the connector, push the white PLR inward to lock the terminals in place.
5. Install connector on coil.
6. Push the red CPA forward to lock the connector in place.
7. Rinse and repeat with each connector.
8. Done.
