Item description
This authentic WWII-era U.S. Army Medical Department collar insignia pair includes:
? ?U.S.? service pin marked KREW ? 1/20 SIL-FILLED ? G1, indicating 1/20 silver-filled construction by Krew Co., a WWII-era insignia maker.
? Medical Department enlisted badge, featuring the Rod of Asclepius on a shield above a five-point star, symbolizing enlisted medical personnel. Reverse marked S-21, attributed to Vanguard or Amcraft subcontractors (circa 1940s?1950s).
Each measures approximately 1 inch tall. Both pins retain their original patina and posts, showing light age wear consistent with period service.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with expected surface toning. See photos for details.
