*Photo Cover of Mulder (David Duchovny) Scully (Gillian Anderson). "Soma." Story by John Rozum. Pencils by Alexander Saviuk. Inks by Rick Magyar./ Six women have died from what appears to be spontaneous human combustion. All are sixty-two years old, widowed, and recent immigrants from India. Sounds like an X-File. Shortly after Scully and Mulder begin investigating, a seventh woman survives what seems to be an attack from a cloud of smoke. She relates an amazing story. Back in India she was a member of a cult that expected women to burn themselves alive if their husbands died. Just before she came to America her husband passed away, but she did not follow the dictate. Now her husbands ghost appears to have come to find out why.
