Vintage 40s Hand Carved Painted Wood Tribal and similar items

It is not marked which is typical of the cottage constructed ELZAC pins, but the size, materials, and subject matter, are consistent with ELZAC creations. Measuring 3 ” x 2 3/8”, it is hand carved and painted red mouth; with black balls for the pupils of his eyes. The pin mechanism is inset and functions securely. It is in very good vintage condition. The book, “Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat’s Jewel Box” by Madeleine Albright would make a great companion gift to this pin.
