Item description
For sale is a Vintage Ceramic or porcelain Wedding Day Fancy Dress Couple. This could possibly be used for a Wedding Cake Topper.
The piece measures approximately 3.25 tall and a little over 2 inches across at it's widest part.
There are no labels or markings on this piece. There are a few small pencil markings on the bottom.
The faces are expressive, sweet and nicely painted on this piece.
The bride is holding a bouquet of roses.
There is a chip on the back of the groom's hat. This could be camouflaged with either black paint or a black marker.
Overall the paint is applied well on this piece, with the exception of a few stray marks here and there.
There is a larger black spot below the hat on the back of the groom's head.
There are a few tiny dark stray marks on the right hand side and neck of the bride's face.
This piece does have general age wear to it.
There are some discolored areas on this piece, most notably on the back, on the bride's bow, and in the bottom left corner of the bride's dress. I do not know how or if these marks can be removed.
