Item description
Grosset Dunlap. Copyright 1934. Print run 1959A-51. Original 25-chapter text. It is valued in the most recent Farah's Guide at a $31.00 value when both book and jacket are in "very good" condition.
#11 in the series. Author was Mildred A. Wirt Benson writing under the Stratemeyer Syndicate house pseudonym "Carolyn Keene."
Very good book with some spine sunning (see second picture). Prior owner name/addresses in ink on title page. Beyond that, no other writing or marking. Good hinges. Discolored page block (see third picture). Lovely collectible blue/white multipictorial endpapers.
Very good dust jacket with minor chipping, wear at corners, but generally in excellent condition. Front flap lists to Nancy Drew Pavilion, rear flap lists to Vicki Barr Gold Coin, and the jacket rear lists to Dana Girls Swiss Chalet.
Now protected in removable mylar covering.
