Well, when all that was going on, I noticed that had a ring that was almost an exact duplicate, and quite frankly, I ended up selling these by the double handful every single day for several months. Her's was a honkin' big sapphire, the same size as the one we use. Our Created Blue Sapphire is molecularly the same as the stuff that comes from the ground, but tons cleaner and with a lot better color. Oh, and it's affordable. Her's ran about 28,000 in 1981, which was about 85,000 when they got married, more like 100,000 now, which would be about $150,000 in US dollars today. Mine... not so much -- $79.77. 'Nuff said about that. This ring just "feels" good, and look great! It DOES make a statement, and it'll take a certain amount of attitude to wear this ring.
