For sale is a vintage Mens Filson Forest Green Heavy Wool Double Mackinaw Cruiser in a size 46. Filson is the gold standard for men's outdoor and field jackets. Please note that the jacket has several wear marks which could be moth bites on the collar area, and please do not purchase if this is a concern. I do not see any other moth bites or wear marks on the jacket, but please be aware that there could be some other ones. This jacket is a heavy jacket, made from thick, heavy wool. The jacket is not lined. According to the sizing chart on the Filson site, 46 is equal to an XL. According to the Filson infomation their jackets run on the roomy side, to allow layering underneath. This jacket is a regular length, not a long or short length. This coat does not look as if it has been worn very much. However, there are a few signs of wear on the coat. There are a few small wear marks that could be moth bites on the surface of the wool on the collar area. There are two small ones on the left hand collar side, towards the shoulder seam. These ones are barely noticeable. There is one larger one on the front of the right hand collar side that is more visible, as it is larger and at the front side of the collar. Please view the photographs for a visual of these wear marks or moth bites. These wear marks could be rewoven, if desired. Although I do not know what is involved with that, it can be quite expensive I hear. A few of the pocket snaps have minor rub marks and scraping on them. The stitching on the back cape hem area of the coat looks a little sloppy, where it has been overstitched to end the stitching. Please see the photos for a visual of this.
