Vintage Coppercraft Guild Repousse Hunting Scene Wall Plate Planter These Vintage Coppercraft Guild Repousse Hunting Scene Wall Plate Planters have a copper hanger on back for wall display. The frame holding the small bowl can be removed to simply display the plate. There is NOT a sticker on the back of either of the plates. The scene depicts a turn of the century quail hunter kneeling beside his two faithful bird dogs and holding his shotgun and his birds for the day. Forest background. The copper plate is bordered by a leaf and acorn pattern. A great piece for the hunter, cabin, or hunting lodge! These were made by the Coppercraft Guild of Taunton, Mass.between 1973 and 1978. Coppercraft Guild was a subsidiary of Tandy Corp., the family-owned leather company in Texas now named RadioShack. Tandy launched Coppercraft Guild in 1973. It sold solid copper decorative items and various housewares through direct marketing. The products were of good quality, but the company was shut down in 1978.
