It takes a village ... seaside*collectibles is happy to bring you these very first figurines from Possible Dreams who manufactured the Dewberry Lane Collection which was designed exclusively by premier author and illustrator Susan Wheeler. This is an independent collection at Possible Dreams that is a very special Susan Wheeler creation that is noted for their meticulous detail. Produced in 1990, this nearly 20 year old collection was available in limited introductory quantities. Sadly, the charming Dewberry Lane Collection of village buildings and figurines was soon RETIRED from production and unfortunately will not be produced again. And because of their fine heirloom quality, this uncommon collection has proved to be highly collectible and very hard to find. This wonderfully designed collection has detailed carving and rich colors that is not commonly seen in today's artistry. This set is SIGNED BY THE ARTIST CREATOR, Susan Wheeler. The signature usually appears at the on the back side of the figurine (s) at the base of the coat or jacket that the figure is wearing. Detailed Condition: PRIVATE COLLECTION. Boxes have been carefully opened (no tears or rips) but NEVER DISPLAYED. Figurines are BRAND NEW and in MINT condition in their original box. Plastic display window has some dents and is yellowing and retail sticker residue present. Figurines are glued to the base of the cardboard display box and there may be some lifting - it is observed that some of the figures are not as secure to the base due to the figure's weight and the advance age of the glue.
