JIM UNGER talks about the start of HERMAN IN 1974 illstrating the comical behavior which all of us think as normal.
JIM UNGER was born in London, England during World War II where he had a career as a London bobby and a driving instructor. He immigrated to Canada with his family where he bagan his career as a cartoonist at the MISSISSAUGA TIMES newspaper in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. In 1974, UNGER moved to Ottawa, Ontario where HERMAN became popular.UNGER moved to the Bahamas in 1984 and retired as a cartoonist in 1992.
On June 2, 1997, HERMAN made a comeback under UNITED MEDIA. He signed a long-term contract to bring 10 years of classic HERMAN back to the newspapers.
Book has very minimal creases and is in excellent condition. Measures 11" x 8-1/2" x 3/4" thick.
