The basket is made from a light weight wicker material similar to rafia. It has a cute attached floral pattern on it, as well as burlap lining. I am unsure of its age. It is 3" tall at the rim, 2.5" deep, 4.5" tall at the handles, and about 8.5" in diameter. It is a cute little basket.
