Item description
A Lot of 2 cards and 4 additional Le Chic Lizard Buttons (total of 10 Buttons), Style 5225. Vintage. Made in Japan. Probably 1950s – 1960s based upon pricing.
Button Description
4 Buttons of Style 5225, Size 36 or 7/8 inch
6 Buttons of Style 5225, Size 24 or 5/8 inch (closer to 9/16)
The metal shank, plastic buttons are round with an indented center. The buttons have a light sheen. They are shades of brown with patches of black. Cards will have tanning, bends and other light damage. These buttons came from an estate and judging by what I have sorted through the original owner just took the loose buttons from the original cards and never used them.
Bought the vintage sewing pattern, found some appropriate fabric and now you are looking for the right button? Or, perhaps you are trying to repair an existing vintage garment? The right vintage button can make all the difference!
All buttons are vintage items and sold...AS IS. Although I maintain a smoke-free and a pet-free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously. Buttons comes in a zip 2 mil. plastic bag and are shipped in an envelope with a cardboard insert or in a padded mailer depending upon the buttons. The zip bag is great for storing the buttons!
