The Roger Baxter series was originally published by Julian Messner Publishing Company starting in 1946. They were written by Samuel Epstein and his wife Beryl under the pseudonyms Charles Strong (volume 1) and Martin Colt (volumes 2 3). Together the Epstein's produced over 120 books for young people. The Roger Baxter series was a precursor to the Ken Holt series. It is very difficult to find originals of the Roger Baxter series. This short series is a must have for Ken Holt series fans!
This Limited Edition Reprint hardcover with dust jacket is in Like New condition. It is a high quality hardcover with stitched binding, acid free paper, on blue cloth boards with gold foil stamping. The dust jacket uses art from the original publisher. The dj does have minor wear. This book would make a great start to a collection of this series!
