It does have some light stains on the outside at the top however, this is the only evidence that it was ever used at all. I am unsure of the age, but it is a 46% Olefin, 35% Angora, and 13" Nylon. It is a nice beige color, a little darker, more like a light tan, and is one size fits most. It is a wonderful, super soft retro bucket hat.
