Summary Christopher Nolan relaunched the cinematic Batman in epic fashion, having Christian Bale don the cowl of the caped crusader and retelling the Dark Knight's origins in Batman Begins. Then the Batman reeled against the craziness of the Joker in The Dark Knight.
