HAIL, CAESAR! (dvd+blu-ray) *NEW* hollywood and similar items

Brand new factory sealed dvd and blu-ray combo, digital code has probably expired. Set during the 1950s Josh Brolin stars as a hollywood "fixer" who keeps the stars in line and the various movie productions being shot at the studio going. The title of the film is a Bible epic being made with George Clooney as the star. The final crucifixion scene needs to be shot and Clooney has been kidnapped! In the meantime a western is being filmed on another lot with a clueless co-star, there's a water ballet ala' Esther Williams picture being made with Scarlett Johansson that seems to be doing fine, and a Gene Kelly inspired song and dance movie with Channing Tatum in the title role. A lot of in-jokes to the movie industry without controversary makes this whole affair seem rather benign for a Coen Brothers film with really nothing meaningfull to say. It's just a fun insiders look at all the little crises that can happen on a studio lot that filmdom fans should enjoy.
