Took me a while to figure out what to call this so I could accurately search for it. There are two different versions, "new" and "old" that are shaped differently. Additionally, there are two types of the "old" style.
I had acquired several circular saw blades and a couple cutt-off wheels that had the bushing knocked out and no longer present. This little diamond thing is needed to fill the diamond-shaped hole, leaving a round 5/8" hole, so that it will fit securely on the saw arbor. A few dollars for this bushing allows me to use these older blades.
