Vintage original 8.5 x 11 in. script from the 1960s thriller drama, AN AMERICAN DREAM, released in 1966 by Warner Bros. and directed by Robert Gist. Based upon the novel by Norman Mailer, a TV talk-show host (Stuart Whitman) who may have killed his wife finds himself being pursued by both the police and a gang of hoods. Adapted from Mailer's novel by Mann Rubin, it consists of 127 pages with various dates above the page numbers ranging from 2/7/66 through 2/26/66 that were three-hole punched and bound with two brass brads without any outer wrapper. It is on overall fine+ condition and the last page has a small piece that was separated from the rest of the page but is included within.
