Item description

This is a vintage, 1923 Columbia Records recording by Van and Schenck of "Kentucky Echoes" on side A and "Georgia Cabin Door" on side B, number 3753. Discogs classifies the record as being vocal, novelty pop and elsewhere as a comedy record. This is an original shellac 78 RPM record in a period Columbia sleeve. (I can't confirm the exact sleeve as the records in the collection were placed randomly in the sleeves.) The antique record was recorded by the Columbia Records in the U.S. I inherited this record more than 35 years ago from the original owner. It appears to be in good condition although the record needs to be cleaned. I have no way of playing the record to confirm whether or not it still plays. The paper sleeve is in nice shape for a 100 year old sleeve. There are a small tears and bends on the sleeve. The antique Victrola record is sold as is. The vintage Grafonola record would also be cute framed for someone that likes Georgia or Kentucky music history. https://www.discogs.com/es/Van-And-Schenck-Georgia-Cabin-Door-Kentucky-Echoes/release/8724975
