Vintage 50s Mauve Cocktail Party Dress Great dress for parties! Material (perhaps rayon?) steams up very easily and flatters the body. There is no size tag present. See measurements - may fit modern US S: 45" long, 16" shoulders, 16" bodice length, 34-36" bust, 27" waist, 36" hips - please compare these measurements to a structured, non stretch dress you own that fits well: 18" underarm to underarm with material flat and 13.5" across the waist. 14" circumference at arm opening. Mannequin is 5'8" US XS with 32" bust - dress was a bit big in the bust. Rhinestone buttons and rich dark brown velvet trim. Matching thin belt. Back metal zipper. Dry clean only. Shawl collar is lined. The dress has a short piece of structure material inside from waist down - see photo. The dress is in very nice condition. No flaws.
