Abigail is known for her hi-NRG covers of popular songs on both sides of the Atlantic. Some of those are K.D. Lang's Constant Craving, R.E.M.'s Losing My Religion and Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit. These were all collected with several originals on Feel Good. She collaborated with dance music group Thunderpuss 2000, resulting in the Let the Joy Rise single that became an enormous club hit in 1999. She backed this up with another popular club anthem written with Thunderpuss 2000, If It Don't Fit, and yet another the following year with You Set Me Free. All three songs reinvented her as a-club friendly diva, an image she embraced openly after years of trying for success in the genre.
