Antique Vintage WHITING DAVIS Hand-Painted Enamel Mesh Purse with rare Flower Vase design and Van Dyke fringe on the bottom. Overall this purse is in excellent condition with almost no enamel loss on the purse at all. The purse is a pale lime green shade with bright red flowers in a black vase with black accents. The frame is beautifully embossed on both sides with scrolls and curlicues and leaves and opens and closes securely and all of the mesh is attached firmly to the frame even at the hinges. It is stamped WHITING DAVIS CO. MESH BAG on the inside of the frame. Measures 3-3/8" wide x 6-1/4" long from clasp to bottom of Van Dyke style fringe.
