We developed Banded Amazon several years ago, but have continued to work on it until we had the sort of striking contrast you see. Banded Amazon is a big tomato on a compact plant about 30 inches tall. It may be the earliest slicing tomato in the garden at about 65 days from transplanting, and it has a big, bright flavor to match its appearance. You will get good production - three or four of these 3/4 lb beauties will be ripening at any one time.
