BULLS BLOOD BEETS is one of the worlds superfoods. These started to show up in seed catalogs in the late 1800's.Very versatile. They can be used as sprouts, microgreens, juiced or grown to full-size in the garden. Exceptional dual purpose heirloom. Dark red young tops are a nice addition to salad mixes. You can harvest baby greens in 35 days or so. Later, as they mature, Bull's Blood greens turn dark burgundy and develop a richer flavor.
