It does show some signs of wear from use, most noticeably scratches and ding marks to the face but those only really stand out in certain lighting. On the inside of the back cover there is a stamp that says "Hong Kong Bulova" and someone has written in marker "NEW MOVMT". The movement does not say Bulova on it.
