I would like to thank old Stoin M Stoin, personally, from the heart of every Burley Winter collector for sloppy, gloppy, puzzling glazes from another world. This art glaze aesthetic always strikes me as blend of Oriental and pre Colombian. This vase is absolutely mint from head to toe. The fact that art pottery from Burley Winter was only made in the American 1930s is like peeking into a small historical window. Just a great story in the wonder that was American Art Pottery. Five inches tall. 3.5 inches across the rim.
