Item description

Brand new factory sealed vhs recorded in the superior SP mode. Beware of other copies being offered in slower tape speeds. Out Of Print in all formats and no longer being manufactured. Has the original theatrical trailer as a special feature. This fantasy farce was popular enough to spawn several movies and inspired the TV series 'Mr. Ed' who was a talking horse. This time the talking mule is "drafted" into the Navy and put up on the auction block as army surplus. His bumbling buddy Peter (Donald O'Connor) comes to rescue his best friend. In a case of mistaken identity, shore patrol picks up Peter and takes him back to his double's quarters where he must find a way to establish his true identity. This is the last Francis film to feature Donald O'Connor as his pal. Watch for a minor role by Clint Eastwood and stars Jim Backus, David Janssen Martin Milner.
