NO instructions are included. It can however be assembled via the pictures in the listing and it will have a link to some guidance to get you started. Wooden MDF lighthouse comes disassembled. It was cut on laser cutter. It is made from "bare" 3mm MDF wood board. It needs glue to hold it together. Lighthouse is a great puzzle for young and old alike. NO INSTRUCTIONS are included with puzzle. While assembling you may want/need rubber bands or like item to hold pieces in place. It needs glue (glue not included, but any glue i.e., plain ole Elmers will work), in order to stay put together. It can be glued for a "permanent" model lighthouse. It makes fun decor and a great gift. MDF wood board can be sanded and or painted allowing you to decorate any way you choose. If your puzzle has missing pieces, please let us know, as we too can lose them during the cutting and packing process. ? If you lose, misplace, break, want additional parts (or whatever!) we can help you out! For the cost of shipping, we will send needed additional pieces. If pieces are missing or broken from shipping, please let us know. Sometimes "things" happen! ? The discolorations are "burn marks" from laser cutting. They can be removed by lightly sanding or painting over them or left alone to add character! Laser cutting either melts, burns, vaporizes or is blown away by a jet of gas. Depending on the material, this process can create some potent odors. NOT TO WORRY, the odor dissipates! DF stands for Medium-density fiberboard. MDF is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residues into wood fibers combining it with wax and a resin binder and forming into panels by applying high temperature and pressure. The MDF used in our puzzles is CARB Certified and TSCA Title IV.
