Vintage Madame Alexander Sweden Doll with Horse 35980 Collectors Edition Doll in original box with authentic clothing and accessories including doll display stand. Doll includes Official Collector Registration Card and original packaging. Part of the Madame Alexander International Doll Collection. Madame Alexander Doll "Sweden" from the International Series issued in 2003 and retired in 2004. This set is style #35980 standing 8" tall. Her wooden horse stands about 8" tall 6" long (from nose to back end). She comes in her original box and tissue paper which is in good condition. She also comes with her hang tag, registration card and wooden horse. This set has been stored stored and never displayed. She is wearing a crisp Swedish costume in bright colors. The bodice has beautiful embroidery, there is a row of lace around the neckline; a small goldtone stud has a royal blue satin ribbon attached. The apron that goes over her flower print skirt ties in the back in a pretty bow. Her pantaloons and slip are trimmed in lace. She wears red tights and black velveteen shoes with bold buckle trim. Her adorable hat is stiff, made of red felt with white lace trim. The elastic piece that fits under her chin is in new condition. She has light blonde hair styled in tight braids; her blue blink eyes open and close freely.
