An incredible large vintage custom designed hand made sterling silver one of a kind brooch of a sea nymph with her hair being tousled by the wind. Depicted in profile this gorgeous woman seems has a deep glaze that seems to see into the far distance. Her hair is blown behind her by the wind. This entire gorgeous scene is created by hand. The surface of the silver is smooth and sensuous with a luxurious mirror like high polish. This incredible pin is large and luxurious in style measuring measuring 4 5/16" wide by 4 5/8" tall and 3/8" deep. It is a large dramatic studio designed vintage treasure. In total the mermaid weighs 30.3 grams. On the reverse she has a c clasp. This could easily be converted to a safety clasp at little cost if desired. She is in gorgeous condition.
