The plate is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, but it is a little dusty and will need to be washed. I am unsure of the age of the plate but it was made by Arcoroc in France. It is 7" in diameter. It is a very nice glass desert plate, and would give a very elegant look, as glass tends to do. It would be a great addition to any glass collection, or an incomplete set.
