Item description

The telling indicator on this item is the fact that the metal fittings all are brass, although corroded. Brass corrodes when it is around salt water and when I look at this I get the distinct feeling that someone wore it jumping off an LSD and wading ashore. There are no markings and I cannot tell you the exact age of this item or where it has been but it is clearly the oldest one I have ever had and I don't think that WWII in the Pacific is a bad bet. Shipping package is wrapped in brown paper or similar and will save you on the postage.
