1 set of 2 Authentic Ethnic tribal Pinahig Espada Y Daga Ifugao / Kalinga Filipino Philippine blades 1 Pinahig bolo machete 1 knife new, hand made in the Philippines Made in the province near famous Banaue rice terraces on the island of Luzon, machete: carbon steel blade: 10 1/2" (27 cm) 15 1/2" ( 39 cm) overall Weight : 11.1 oz (315 grams) and with scabbard 13.9 oz ( 390 grams) handle: 4 3/4" (12 cm) The wooden handle covers full tang and wrapped with strands of ratan/rattan. The knife: overall: 10 1/2" (26.5 cm) blade:6 3/4" (17 cm) handle:3 1/2" (9 cm) weight: 5.5 oz (155 grams) the material of the tang has been flattened out and bent around to form a flattened cylinder. Blades and handles are the same pieces of metal, which makes it impossible to break the handles off open faced wooden scabbards: The scabbards being essentially a decorated boards hollowed slightly on one face to fit the blade which is held in place by a small low wooden arch bound to the main part of the sheath by rattan.
