Pleione barbarae is cross of Pleione grandiflora x Pleione bulbocoioides and can bloom anywhere between yelloowish pink to pink or yellow. You need to follow deciduous terrestrial orchid culture, good watering and fertilizing in active growing season, but it needs to be kept completely dry and cold in the fall time when dormant, till new growths appear. Bright indirect light, best when potted in good terrestrial mix or live sphagnum moss. Excellent for outdoor growing or windowsills and greenhouse growing.
