Item description
Caria Indos Solid Soap Holder
Product Code: 24FBPC122
In ancient times, this region encompassed most of present-day Ayd?n and Mu?la provinces, as well as the western edge of Denizli province. The northern boundary is defined by the Büyük Menderes (Maiandros) River, while the Indos River forms the border with Lycia to the east. The Aegean Sea borders the west and south.
INDOS (Dalaman River) originates from the Ye?ilgol Mountains in the south of Golhisar district and flows into the Mediterranean after delineating the borders of Cameli, Ac?payam, Ortaca, and Dalaman districts. In ancient times, this river flowed into the Koyce?iz Gulf, and over time, the alluvium it carried filled the sea, forming the present-day Koyce?iz Lake and the surrounding marshes. The ancient cities of Kaunos and Pisilis are now several kilometers inland from the coast. The shores and marshes of Koyce?iz provide a natural habitat for Caretta Caretta turtles. Throughout history, the Indos River has been the subject of many myths and legends.
