This Ransom's Family Receipt Book is the oldest I have seen but that doesn't mean there aren't older ones out there. It has been used, or due to age looks like it has been used. The cover has a little fading and some of the corners of the pages have bends but for something it's age it is good overall. These were given away at pharmacies and general stores that sold Ransom's products. This one was from E. R. Curtis, Marple, PA which would have been in present day Delaware County PA. There is a corner of the back cover that is missing. It is a triangular piece, but is not in the printed area. We must collect 6% Pennsylvania Sales and Use Tax at checkout. Thanks for stopping by!
