"Hound Sounds!", Jughead shows off variations of hot dogs with the theme of different kinds of dogs - Pekingese with chow mein noodles, dachsund with sauerkraut, etc. - to prove that dog is man's best friend. "Escape," Betty and Veronica try to help Jughead escape from Big Ethel but they run him into a tree and into a tree limb; Moose takes up the task, carrying Jughead, but he slips and sends Jughead flying into garbage cans. "Temper Temper," Jughead motivates Archie in the race by making Moose mad at him. "Time Out" one-page Li'l Jinx story. "Hard To Get!", Jughead is chased by girls because he is unavailable to them; Reggie tries to get their attention but they want nothing to do with him.
