Yes... I'm an August Baby, and I got stuck with Apple Green, when I'd just as soon have, hmmm, Blue Zircon -- matches my baby blues... Anyway, the point is, I won't buy Peridot unless it's killer Peridot. I won't buy the stuff that has brown tinges to it, and I don't buy the stuff that looks all yellowy. (I wonder if I can use yellowy in a scrabble game? :-) Oh, and I won't buy the stuff that's all full of carbon or those flat lily pad thingies. It'd better be a good, clean, solid green, or I don't carry it. 'Nuff said. Oh, one other thing, you'll notice that if you do a search on all my peridot and look at all the pictures, the colors vary. That's my crummy picture taking skills. I'm always trying to adjust this or that trying to capture the real color of the stone. Sometimes I get close, other times -- not so much. The actual color consistency of our stones is very good, though, and the color is perfect. One day I'll get the pictures right. I'm a lot better goldsmith than I am a photographer. These stones are set into a wraptight bezel. It allows the most show of stone for the least expense in silver.
