Item description

Santo Domingo 12" Migration Polychrome Vase Pottery Hand Built by Thomas Tenorio For your consideration is this sensational hand built Corn and Migration motif polychrome pot by award winning Santo Domingo potter Thomas Tenorio. This beautiful piece is 12" tall and 11" in diameter at the shoulder. The opening is 6" in diameter. Hallmarked by the famous Santo Domingo potter. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Thomas Tenorio did a beautiful job not only building this pot, but the painting is perfect. This pot was hand built, then fired outside in an open pit. Thomas paints these traditional pots with pigments that he makes. This is a spectacular piece by a wonderful craftsman. Thomas has been creating exquisite pottery for many years and most recently took home a First Place for Native Handbuilt Pottery at the 54th Annual Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair Market for 2012!
