This is a solid Portoro marble 4-sided obelisk It measures approximately 10 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". It tapers from the bottom to the top and is capped with a 4-sided pyramid. The colors are black, gold, and cream. I have photographed all 4 sides. Marble is a natural stone and has variations in color and texture. There are many varieties of Portoro marble quarried in various countries. I do not know the variety of Portoro marble used in this obelisk, All of the edges are beveled and all surfaces are polished including the bottom. I purchased this obelisk in Denver in the 1980s. I purchased other stone and crystal obelisks to create a city skyline decoration for table or mantle. I examined this obelisk and there are no cracks, scratches, or chips. I am listing other stone obelisks and crystal obelisks on this site and on my sister site boscobosco12. I am downsizing and am selling most everything. Non-smoking household.
