FOR SALE: A Vintage 2003 New, Complete in original BLACK Box "UNITY Horse" 1E 2265 by Westland (who Originally Manufactured Trail of Painted Ponies thru about the 14th Herd). From the Original 2nd Herd, This 6.5" tall Ceramic Pony is beautiful he comes to you Brand New in the rare BLACK Box, encased safely in Styrofoam and with his own introduction story hang tag. Stored, He has not been out of the box except to check his edition number photograph him. Please note: All ponies are in mint condition unless otherwise stated. Some pony's may have minor imperfection's that occurred during manufacturing. These are not considered to be damaged as this is the way they were received from TOPP. FYI: Pony Individual Number: First Edition 2665 (1E 2,665) Westland Production Year 2003 TOPP Herd for Mosaic : 2nd Herd (now in 60th herd) Topp Artist: George Monfils Pony Retirement Number: 2E 1945 Pony Retirement Date: March 2004 Pony Material: Ceramic TOPP Pony ID: 1468 Artist: George Monfils Details: UNITY It was not solely for his grand vision – combining imagery of the early Spanish explorers show brought the horse to American five centuries ago, with representations of the Native tribes whose culture was radically changed by the horse – that this former fashion photographer turned pop artist received the award for the most ambitious Pony. To give his artwork monumental impact, Georges Monfils covered it with over a million and a half tiny Indian seed beads, applied one at a time! So impressive was the outcome, which took the artist over 1,400 hours to complete, that it was nominated for the Guinness Book of World Records. TOPP more info: Each edition is 10,000 ponies. (1E, 2E, etc) Unity Horse had only 21,945 total ponies minted...for the whole world, making him one of the rarest. First edition Black Boxes of Unity are a premium.
