This vintage sterling Sagittarius brooch is from the Cini zodiac series. The design was strongly influenced by classical art. The piece features a putto or cherub archer with a bow and a ribbon inscribed Sagittarius above the archer's head. The large brooch is 2" (5.08 cm) tall by 2" (5.08 cm) across and is secured with a hinged pin and safety clasp. The piece is marked Sterling by Cini. The brooch is in good condition.
