The lamp is made in the form of a carved alabaster stone fluted column with brass mounts on a rectangular plinth base. The lamp is made with white and multicolored Italian alabaster (see photos). The lamp is not marked by a maker (see photos). The lamp has a classical style. The lamp is wired for electricity, and it has been tested to be in working condition (it is always a good idea to re-wire vintage lighting). The lamp is well-made, weighing over 11 pounds. The lamp is vintage. I believe the lamp may be Italian in origin from Italy. The item in total as shown measures about 33 inches high to the top of the harp (it is about 22.5 inches high to the socket top), and it is about 5 inches wide at the base. The alabaster portions of the lamp have some scratches, scuffs, and some chips and wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). The lamp is vintage.
