Item description

Vintage, Early Harmony Kingdom 'Princely Thoughts' Trinket Jest Box. Carved by master carver Peter Calvesbert from a mixture of crushed marble and resin to resemble antique ivory. The Treasure Jests are a humorous line often with secret images or markings that have meaning to artist's life. This little toad aptly named 'Princely Thoughts' was released in 1992 and retired in 1996. This is an early piece thus there is no hallmark on the base, no mouse nor inner carvings. The lid, the top half of the toad , sits loosely on the base. The attention to detail on this quirky little piece is exquisite. Model number TJFR. No box nor pamphlet. Dimensions approx; 6 cm x 4.4 cm x 3 cm Comes in a voile bag. Colour may vary slightly from the photos due to lighting conditions. Comes as pictured. Feel free to ask for more details if needed.
