Item description

Replica WW1 (World War One) German Leib Husaren Regiment Totenkopf cap badge, worn on the front of the hat usually a Einheitsmütze but also on other caps.Trust Safety - this is a WW1 Skull and nothing to do with WW2 Banned German Organisations skull. At the beginning of the First World War, the regiment moved to the Western Front on 3 August 1914 with its sister regiment (2nd Hussar Hussar Regiment No. 2), with which it was to remain in the Brigade during the entire war. The Hussars took part in the Battle of the Marne and the fighting for Arras and were relocated to the Eastern Front in the fall of 1914. Here they fought first in Galicia and in the Battle of Riga and were involved in the occupation of the islands Oesel and Dagö. This badge is the closest you are going to get to an original. notice the two prongs, these are bent backwards to attach the badge to the cap. If you are a reenactor or collector this is the badge to get. Approx 30mm tall and 34mm wide. Like all of our items 100% money back on the badge, if returned in sold condition.
