Walk With Us, directed by Wiebke von Carolsfeld, looks at the collaborative artistry of two of Canada’s most internationally acclaimed artists – Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. Cardiff and Miller have produced complex multimedia installations and audio walks that go beyond visual art and become a hybrid of theater, film and performance. Von Carolsfeld takes us on a walk along a path in the Hebbel Theater in Berlin, down the corridor of a penitentiary in the work in progress “Pandemonium”, and lets us listen in as they tune their acclaimed choral piece, “40 Part Motet”. Walk With Us premiered at the Canadian Art Film Series Festival in 2006.
